ASU Newman was founded on Monday, February 18th, 2019 at Adams State University as it became an official AS&F club. These were exciting times for the campus. The ministry to provide doctrine and faith formation to students on campus at ASU was greatly lacking and the spiritual need of the students was present. Newman Centers were named in honor of Blessed Cardinal John Henry Newman and were inspired by Newman's writings. The first Newman Center was established in 1893 at the University of Pennsylvania. We strive to continue the legacy of the Newman centers and continue to prosper in faith, hope, and love as a club as well as a campus.
